Imagine a future where you truly understand your dog.

Overwhelmed with all the training information out there? With red-faced ‘trainers’ telling you to dominate your dog and zen hippies claiming that vibrational frequencies will cure excessive barking, who should you trust?

At Act of Dog, we keep it real. Like humans, dogs experience emotions such as fear, frustration, and anxiety. This can become problematic, particularly in today’s hectic world.

“Obedience training” doesn’t work, at least not for your dog. We help you to meet your dog where it’s at, so you can build a beautiful relationship.

Dog training alone won't help, but an Act of Dog will!

Are you ready to build a beautiful relationship with your dog?

1 Book a Call

Let’s chat for 10 minutes so we can get to know you and your dog.

This call is free and if we are a good match, we can move to an appointment.

2 Book a Consult

We meet to discuss your dog’s background and behaviour. We will put together a training or management plan to reduce, or in some cases eliminate, the identified issues.

3 Let’s Progress

In some cases, we put together a training plan so you can resolve issues yourself. In complex cases, we hold your hand as you work through the plan with complete transparency of the goals.

What can you learn?

How to:

  • Build your capability and confidence to truly understand your dog.

  • Understand your dog’s breed and offer appropriate outlets in the modern world.

  • Keep a calmer, more confident and mentally stimulated dog, with no gimmicks.

  • Maintain predictable results, without using aversive methods.

  • Read your dog’s body language, social interactions and play.

  • Manage changes in your dog’s behaviour, responsibly and instantly.

  • Understand the difference between dog training myths and evidence-based methods.
